BULLETIN # 2 JUNE 6, 2014
We have completed our second day of bargaining with the employer to renew
the collective agreement. Both sides have tabled initial proposals and the
process is just in the initial stages.
You elected a bargaining team to represent you at the table in
negotiations and your team is working extremely hard on your behalf.
Our priority is to provide YOU
the Bargaining Unit with a collective agreement that is fair, equitable and respectful to all members. We are looking
forward to a positive dialogue on the issues you have brought forward and to obtain a deal in a timely manner.
We are asking you as a Member to continue showing your support for your
Bargaining Team. We are all in this together!
We
will be relying on your support during the coming weeks of negotiations. Our
next bargaining dates are July 21 & August13th & 14th.
