you know …….. There were over 500 days of lost time claims approved by WSIB in
year 2015 (the report is posted on the main Health and Safety board by the
cafeteria). It is important that you bring any safety concerns to your
manager, file an employee incident report on all incident including good
catches. Consult a H&S rep or your Union if your concerns has not been
addressed. The OHSA has clearly defined duties of all workplace parties to
ensure the safety of workers. Most of the risk could be avoided if proper
measures are in place. Getting injured at work is not part of your job.
