CAAT Update - Week 4 of the College Faculty Strike began this week - as many of you may have seen the CEC has walked away from the table and is forcing a final offer vote. This move has been very discouraging to our faculty members - three weeks in and they asked the OPSEU team back to the table, only to pull this stunt the beginning of week 4. Morale is hard enough on a picket line without having an employer bargaining team build false hope and then pull the rug out from under the striking members. You can help..... visit a picket line, even if only for a few minutes on your way to work or your way home; joining their picket lines lets our College Faculty know that they are not alone.
